The Power Of Invisibility
Laid in the Hull Royal Infirmary operating theatre, Robbie is on the edge of receiving general anaesthetic for the first time.
As the anaesthetic countdown from 10 hurdles towards 1, Robbie scrambles to be transported to a paradise thousands of miles away but instead finds themself on Spring Bank.
As their external life is in its own battle, their internal turmoil confronts the never-ending fight to be really seen all whilst having an invisible condition.
The Power of Invisibility is a brand-new monologue commission for Fresh Ink and a work-in-progress play. A second draft will be performed script-in-hand inside a marquee on Stage@TheDock in Hull's Fruit Market.
