Terms and Conditions
Tickets are sold through Middle Child’s online box office platform, Ticket Tailor.
The following terms and conditions apply:
Seating
Seating for all Fresh Ink events is unreserved and the Fresh Ink team kindly ask that audience members fill the seats from the front. Spaces will be saved for wheelchair users and those with access requirements.
Access Requirements: We ask that wheelchair users and those with access needs let us know of any requirements, by using the notes section at the checkout.
Safety Measures
Audience members must respect any safety measures put in place in the venues at Stage@TheDock, Middle Child and Pop-Up Space, Pier Street. These measures are under constant review and may change at short notice.
Tickets
1) Refunds and returns are only available up to 24 hours before the advertised event start time. You can manage this yourself through Ticket Tailor, by clicking on “Manage tickets” at the top of the listings page.
If you are unable to do this through Ticket Tailor, please email boxoffice@middlechildtheatre.co.uk to request a refund. Any refunds issued within 24 hours of the advertised start time are entirely at Middle Child’s discretion and are not guaranteed.
a) Tickets will be refunded minus any booking fees, transaction fees or processing charges applied by Ticket Tailor or payment providers, and any donation you have made.
b) Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment and may take up to 10 working days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
c) No refunds will be given for non-attendance, late arrival or failure to use a ticket.
d) Tickets for free events can be returned and released to general sale.
2) Exchanges for a different performance time are only available up to 24 hours before the advertised show start time, subject to availability. You can manage this yourself through Ticket Tailor, by clicking on “Manage tickets” at the top of the listings page.
If you are unable to do this through Ticket Tailor, please email boxoffice@middlechildtheatre.co.uk to request an exchange. Any exchanges issued within 24 hours of the advertised start time are entirely at Middle Child’s discretion and are not guaranteed.
3) If a performance is rescheduled or postponed your tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date and time. Should this not be suitable, the cost of your tickets can be donated to Middle Child or fully refunded, minus the booking fee and any donations you have made. In the event of a postponement, Middle Child will contact all ticket bookers.
4) If a performance is cancelled for any reason, tickets can be donated to Middle Child or fully refunded, minus the booking fee and any donations you have made. In the event of a cancellation, Middle Child will contact all ticket bookers.
5) All ticket prices, offers and discounts are subject to availability and Middle Child reserves the right to add or remove discounts at any time. No refunds will be given on the announcement of a special offer.
6) If you are booking tickets on behalf of others, you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of the party.
Conditions of Entry
Middle Child employees and associated volunteers working on Fresh Ink: Hull Playwriting Festival are here to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Please follow any guidance they give you in relation to the safety and comfort of yourself or others. This may include specific guidance not covered below, which will be shared on a per-event basis.
We operate a zero-tolerance policy to aggressive, intoxicated and otherwise anti-social behaviour which may compromise the safety or enjoyment of others.
Middle Child reserve the right to:
refuse admission to Fresh Ink venues where we are hosting an event;
request any ticket holder, or member of the public, to leave the venue and take appropriate action to enforce this right;
change the advertised arrangements of any performance in the event of any cause beyond our control.
No refunds will be given to any person refused entry or asked to leave due to breach of these Conditions of Entry.
