When you’re queer and don’t see anyone like you having children, other than wealthy celebs, how do you believe you can ever be parents?

How do you remain hopeful that you can also start a family without winning the lottery?

Jack and Dylan are a couple in their mid-30s, living in Hull. They love being uncles to their hilarious niece, but it’s time to start their own family. If Tom Daley can do it, they can, right? If only it were that simple…

All plays will be performed script-in-hand, by professional actors, after a short rehearsal period.

  • Themes and discussion of bullying, homophobia, classism, adoption, grief, death of a parent, cancer, anxiety, PTSD, infertility, pregnancy, miscarriage and terminal illness.

Age recommendation 14+, with parental discretion. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Meet You at the Corner, by Laura Wilson, and Roll to React, by Michelle Kelly, will be presented with Everyone We Know Has Kids. Only one ticket is required.

Meet Samuel and Jay in our Meet the Writers events, each morning of the festival at 9:30am at Stage@TheDock.
