How to… Start Writing Plays
Seen our Writers’ Group sharings and want to understand how they came to be? Look no further. This relaxed taster session gives you a feel for how Middle Child’s introduction to playwriting group works, what to expect and whether it’s the right fit for you.
Led by our brilliant course leader and acclaimed playwright Tom Wells, you’ll take part in a short writing exercise, hear from past participants and get a sense of the supportive environment Tom creates for emerging writers.
Whether you’re new to playwriting or looking to sharpen your voice, this session is a toe-dipping way to ask any questions before applying to the next group in 2027.
This workshop will take place in the pop-up space at Pier Street.
