Event: How to apply for 2027

Applications for writing commissions at next year’s edition of Fresh Ink: Hull Playwriting Festival open on 28 July.

Middle Child literary manager, Matthew May, is hosting a lunchtime drop-in session on Wednesday 29 July at the company’s theatre, for writers who would like to apply to find out more about the process.

In this free hour-long event, Matt will talk about the process, what the commissions are, who can and should apply and how to do so, before taking questions.

No booking is required - just to turn up from 1-2pm at 69 Humber Street.
